Cat Welfare Week Launch

CEVA Animal Health and Cats Protection launch Cat Welfare Week

To help raise awareness of feline stress and behavioural issues in cats, Cats Protection and CEVA Animal Health have joined forces to launch the inaugural Cat Welfare Week (23-29 November). Cat Welfare Week launches at the Supreme Cat Show on 21 November and is dedicated to highlighting the factors that result in stressed cats.

What’s Going On?

CAT NAP for CATS – Cat Welfare Week will be marked by a cap nap taking place in Old Spitalfields Market at 1pm on Monday 23 November. Anyone interested in cat welfare is invited to come along and help Cat Welfare Week set a new world record for the number of people having a cat nap in one place. If you can’t get to London, how about a Cat Nap during your lunch break? Simply download the Cat Nap Eye Mask and make your contribution of £1 to the Cats Protection on-line.

Free Feliway Travel Spray

As an added bonus, CEVA Animal Health is celebrating the launch of its new TV campaign, featuring That Purple Cat , by offering a FREE 15ml Feliway Travel Spray to anyone buying a Feliway Diffuser from veterinary practices. CEVA is asking practices to give out the product in exchange for a voucher (available to download from the Feliway site. CEVA will then replace stock at the practice.

“CEVA Animal Health is committed to raising awareness of stress in cats and improving feline welfare,”

says Lucy Brett, product manager at CEVA Animal Health.

“Cat Welfare Week will help educate cat owners on the signs of feline stress and encourage them to seek advice from their veterinary practice.”
